I am looking for any information that any one may have on this lovely little race car or chris winder that raced it (photos story's ect programs)
I have here a 1928 riley 9 racer from the late 50 s early 60 s built and raced by chris winder around the north of England hill climbs and circuits . I have loads of paperwork and scrutineer tags as well as vscc doc relating to the carphotos 1 to 6 as found after 40 years in a local garagephoto 7 the same car in the 100 th addition of Motorsport magazine at snettertonphoto 8 same photo at snetterton with the relevant scrutineer tagphoto 9 to 11 as she is now with the engine highly tuned and running sweet cleaned up with all the brakes overhauled near ready for the roadphoto 12 the car appeared in Sunday times magazine early this year as it was owned by the sports corespondent roger mortimer. The article was on a book release of his letters to his children . I have the wings and lamp fitted in this photo and they can allson be seen in the snetterton photo beside the car as it was driven to the eventthere is no buy it now price
