1980 MGB Roadster (Brooklands Green) in lovely condition for its 33 years complete with desirable registration and last valued at over £400+.
Owned by me for the past 2 years with 4 previous owners she has previously been subject to a caring restoration and the underside. engine bay and boot are in excellent condition. She is a fair weather car and remains under cover during the winter months as is clearly evident by the cleanliness of the wheel arches.
A detailed engine bay reveals the original (unleaded) engine. with matching under bonnet numbers and manufacturers tags. There is a large file of history that will come with the car. with all previous owners MOT's from new to the present day (the latest being only 1 week ago. so full MOT).
She has recently had new front shocks and bushes as necessary. new wipers. head lamp bowls. brake pads and shoes and a new battery last year.
Other features include:electronic Ignition and fuel pumpleather seats Motalita steering wheel CD/Radio +auto changer recently new minilite alloy wheels and tyres Stainless Steel Exhaust The sale will also include the RV 8 Everflex Hood (with zip window) and full tonneau cover (both less than 3 years old). the desirable number plate (PNK 5 W) and chrome luggage rack.
The only bad points relate to the bodywork. where the paint is slightly bubbling in a couple of places and the boot lid is now showing its patina of age. These points are shown in the last 3 photos. Those points apart. the car is lovely looking and drives really well with fully functional overdrive on 3 rd and 4 th gears.
Sensibly priced with the the reserve reflecting the desirable registration. (Note that the car had a previous agreed valuation of £5. 00 which expired in August 2012)
