This is a Hummer collector opportunity for the collector who wants to legally drive their US Military Humvee on Colorado roads and highways. As you know the State of Colorado is clamping down on Military HMMWVs and some models are not allowed on Colorado roadways but this HMMWV is already 100% approved by the State of Colorado for ON-ROAD USE.

Of course it can be driven off-road also! I drive this in town and it gets noticed!!

This M 998 Humvee is in very good condition and is a 1986 former USMC US Military M 998 HMMWV in a four-door soft top configuration. I have stored it indoors. Very good condition. Only 19. 95 miles or thereabouts. (I drive it every week. )

One of the best 4 x 4 drive trains and suspensions ever designed. All time 4 WD with CV joint technology for smooth turning. Makes tight turns!
High ground clearance.

Heavy steel chassis.

Mostly aluminum body (doesn't rust).
Strong running GM diesel engine. Just passed Colorado Diesel Emissions Test.

Block heater plug in.

Automatic transmission with Central Diff Lock.

Standard military seating and lap seat belts for 4 persons. No tears or holes in upholstery.

Good wiring (24 volt system. A 12 volt system can be added easily for cellphones and such. )
Pintle trailer hitch. heavy duty.

Goodyear military tires.

Strong heater and defrost but no A/C. Take the doors off in summer!!!
Relatively new soft top with no leaks.

Soft doors also near new.

Good glass.

Brush guard.

Sound dampening kit still installed.

This vehicle has not been abused and has no accident damage.

This vehicle does not have a key ignition but one can be installed if you want. (It has standard military gauges and military lights and military start switch. etc. )

Keep in mind this IS NOT a 80 mph vehicle! Speedometer tops out at 60 MPH.

This is NOT a Hummer H 1 civilian. and top comfortable speed is about 55 mph!!!!!!!!!! This Military Vehicle is 24 volt and it has no radio or 12 v anything.

A 24 v-12 v converter can be added for charging cellphones. etc. This is in original condition and has not been modified.

This HUMVEE has a valid Colorado title and licensing! Please keep in mind this vehicle can only be sold to a USA Citizen or USA Company owned by USA Citizens and I cannot export it.

This vehicle is for the buyer who really wants an ON AND OFF ROAD LEGAL HMMWV in Colorado. Drives smooth. Auto transmission shifts smoothly and it accelerates fast from a stop. Super good braking too.
