1965 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8 for sale

Three owner. highly maintained survivor. Second owner purchased in 1967. brought from Ohio to Georgia. where it stayed for 46 years in it's own climate controlled garage. I bought it four years ago. and delivered it straight to a Healey specialist in Atlanta. who kept it for almost a year. I have receipts for over $16 K in mechanical maintenance front to back. My instructions were to make it trip worthy. It has been painted twice. first in 1967. and the latest being 13 years ago. Call if interested and I will explain the paint history. I just had the paint tweaked. and it is 9 of 10. and very presentable. The interior. top and trunk were also replaced with the last paint. No rips or tears. One seat back has a small abrasion in an area not noticeable. Wheels are chrome. and radial tires are excellent. Tonneau is new. Top surround is in good condition with no tears. Engine is correct numbers. and runs excellent without ever being rebuilt. New motor mounts. Spin-on oil filter. Clutch. throw-out bearing and slave cylinder are new. Transmission and overdrive have been rebuilt in the last year. Brakes are new. with new master cylinder. lines and emergency brake assembly. New stainless steel exhaust from engine. Cooling system. electronics. carburetors. all rebuilt. The frame and engine compartment was also painted black in 1967. and has never been undercoated. but has been touched up. No cancer and no pitting/scale. Pans have been replaced. and covered in Dynamat. All chrome excellent. This is a very high end driver capable of taking long trips. Driven weekly. The difference in this car and the others offered is that it is ready to drive anywhere. needs nothing. not even basic tuneup. Ready to show and take for a test drive. No disappointments! Most importantly. I am not a dealer or a flipper. No middleman or hidden fees.
