1979 International Scout II for sale
Current customer rating:
Ok here we go. What I have is a 1979 International Scout II. It has the big 345 V 8 with the powerful Chrysler 727 transmission and Dana 44's front and rear. Disc brakes on front and drum in rear. The Interior is great including a spray in bed liner that cuts down on road noise dramatically. The wheels are 20" KMC Spy's wrapped with Nitto A/T 's. The paint is in fair condition. There is one paint chip on the hood and some nicks just over the bed rails. I have the original top for it which is black in color that is in great shape. This scout is practically rust free which is rare to find if you know anything about these 4 wheel drive monsters. The engine and transmission is in outstanding shape and are perfectly sound. Cruise up and down the road all you like. It will get you there with no problems. The odometer shows 06308 but i know it rolled over when my old high school principal owned it some years back. I believe I am 3 rd owner of this vehicle and I know both previous owners. It has been well taken care of. Any questions please feel free to ask.
Ok so i'm getting tons of questions about the RUST situation. There isn't any rust spots or parts there is a small quarter size spot by the windshield. It is making the paint bubble. Its is easily repairable I just havent taken the time to sand it down and fix it. I have other build projects that are going on and I dont have the time to spend on it. Any further questions please feel free to ask. I want to thank everyone for their interest on this Scout
