The Restoration was conducted by a Hudson Specialist that has many years of experience with the Step Down Body Hudsons.
Technical Details include:A totally Rebuilt 308 cu. in. Chrome Molly Cast Iron Block Bored . 060 in over The Dual Carburetor option has been installed The Cast Iron Head has been milled to increase compression ratio All engine assessories such as starter and generator. distributor and water pump have been rebuilt The radiator was flushed and the car does not overheat. The engine starts easily on it's 6 volt system The transmission is the GM single range Hydromatic that is extremely durable The electrical system was thoroughly renovated. and all systems work as new The fuel system was thoroughly cleaned and the tank washed out and coated with materials impervious to alcohol A modern electric fuel pump backs up the original rebuilt mechanical pump The body of the car was stripped down to bare metal and built back up with epoxy substrates and color coats Upholstery was totally replaced following as close as possible the patterns and materials that the car came out with new The Dashboard metal cover is original and in unusually good condition. which is rare Much New Chrome provided. and Stainless Polished The Hydraulic Brake System was totally rebuilt including new flex hoses at the wheels In Summary: This is a great cars that runs like new. doesn't rattle. and will be a show stopping compliment to it's new owner's collection.
