1964 Volvo P 1800 S finished in Cherry Red with Black interior. Introduced in 1961. the 1800 was designed by Pelle Petterson who was working for Pietro Frua's famous Italian Design studio and who was a graduate of NY's Pratt Institute. A timeless classic that was made famous by Roger Moore in TV's" The Saint" series in the 60's. Owned by the same owner since 1972. this rust free example has spent most of it's life in Central California. Taken down to bare metal in 1990 for a total respray. the paint still remains in great condition with lots of luster and shine. The chrome has been restored and is in fantastic condition. It retains it's original B 18 engine that was completely rebuilt less than 200 miles ago. It's original four speed manual transmission with electronic overdrive. was resealed and it was also fitted with a new clutch and engine and transmission mounts. With the rear end resealed and the steering box overhauled. this P 1800 has no needs whatsoever and it's underside is a clean as it's body.
