1971 Toyota FJ40 landcruiser street legal rock crawler - (NO RESERVE)

If there is something you can think of to modify on a FJ 40. I probably have done it to this one. I have tried to list all the modifications but there is just too much to include. It was a complete frame-up rebuild and I tried to do everything "RIGHT". I wanted a fully capable crawler that was still comfortable doing 60 mph on the freeway. I am not an expert but I think I did a good job on this project. so if you have any questions or need details let me know. I hate to give it up but I need the money and I just don't use it now that I have moved away from the Sierras. My Loss is your gain. I always said. that only reason to restore a vehicle is if you want the experience. because it is always cheaper to buy one already set up. I have over $40 K in to it. It takes the Rubicon without blinking and then drive you home 5 hrs down the road without beating you up. With approximately a 115:1 gear ratio. you can get out and walk next to it at full idle and it has enough torque to climb up anything. If you have been looking for a FJ 40. I think you will love this one. She turns heads everywhere I take her.

Please Note… The vehicle was not painted by a professional paint shop.

I painted the body myself by sandblasting each panel. coating everything with either primer or bed-liner coating. 3 coats of color and 3 coats of clear.

I did this intentionally because I have scratched it several times off road.

When this happens. I can easily find matching paint at an auto parts store.

I spray on a few coats of color and clear and it blends right in.
