Up for sale is a 1983 Toyota 4 x 4 Deluxe long bed pickup in phenomenal condition. 137 K miles - just getting broken in. 4 cylinder. 5 speed manual transmission with power steering and brakes. This vehicle lived a quiet existence for many years in a garage in the Californian desert. and was preserved beautifully as a result.

-New carpeting and interior upholstery
-New Bilstein gas charged shocks
-New belts and battery
-Air conditioner unit upgraded to new Freon 134
-Master and slave cylinders replaced
-New starter
-Fuel pump replaced
-Kobalt tool kit
-CB radio
-Transmission rebuilt with Marlin Crawler parts
-New 1200 lb Marlin Crawler clutch
The only active issues include a scratchy volume pot on the radio / cassette player. a noisy seat belt retractor on the driver's side. and a finicky 12 volt outlet. An oil and battery voltage gauge cluster has been mounted under the dash but is not yet connected. Overall the vehicle is strikingly free of rust. as seen in the photos. There is some trace rust associated with a few chrome edges. as well as with a few nicks in the paint on the bed.
There are some scattered minor dings throughout the body that don't show up in the photos. Local inspection is encouraged.
No known mechanical issues whatsoever. This truck is extremely reliable. and could easily be a daily driver. However. please keep in mind that it is a 34 year old vehicle. and as such is sold as is with no warranty whatsoever.
Questions are very welcome.
The winning bidder will need to make a $500 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of auction's end. and the remainder of the winning bid will need to be delivered via bank wire transfer or certified check within 3 days of auction's end. Once the funds have been received. the truck and title will be available to the new owner. Local pickup is fine otherwise the buyer will be responsible for arranging shipping and for all associated shipping costs.
