You have now just encountered a very rare and concourse restored 1969 Datsun Fairlady 1600 SPL 311 Roadster. For those of you who are not familiar with these Datsun 1600 Roadsters. this was Datsuns/Nissans very first sports car to hit American soil. Only 2. 99 of these in left had drive were built for the 1969 model year and these cars were built and brought here to compete with the MG's. Triumphs and alike cars but without the constant oil puddles one experienced with the European cars.

This 1969 Datsun SPL 311 1600 Fairlady Roadster is a documented 2-owner car with a documented 18. 00 actual original miles. The previous owner (a women) discovered this 1969 1600 Roadster back in 2000 while purchasing houses to rehab and flip. At the time the 1600 Roadster had only 13. 00 miles but had not been on the road for several years and was in need of some love.

From 2000 to 2002 this 1969 Datsun 1600 Fairlady Roadster experienced a complete nut and bolt frame off no expense spared restoration. which is cataloged with hundreds of photos and receipts. which do come with the car to the next lucky owner. This 1969 Datsun 1600 Roadster also competed on the indoor car show circuit receiving over 150 awards and also best of best at the 41 st annual Chicago World of Wheels competition. which also goes with the car.

VEHICLE HISTORY:
This 1969 Datsun 1600 Fairlady Roadster is a documented 2-owner Car and comes to the next owner with the original New Car Title. This 1600 Roadster was purchased new in Illinois and the second owner was from Illinois as well. Vehicle was completely restored nut and bolt frame off with no expense spared. Vehicle was then entered the indoor show circuit where it obtained as high as 98. 87 score of a possible 100 points. Have many score sheets. which comes with car and also award for Best of Best in the Chicago World of Wheels Competition.

FRAME AND BODY:
Entire car was completely disassembled frame off. Body is all steel. bead blasted. sanded and blocked and painted back to original Silver gray Paint Code 666. Entire underbody painted with POR 15 and then clear Coated. Frame was also bead Blasted. painted with POR 5 and completely clear coated. All doors. fenders. hood and deck lid are original to the car. All chrome triple plated to show quality.

ENGINE:

Engine completely disassembled. block boil cleaned. head resurfaced. new cam bearings. main bearings. new rod bearings. new freeze plugs. new oil way plugs. valve springs checked. new water pump. all new seals and gaskets.

EXHAUST:
New headers ceramic coated. New exhaust system ceramic coated

TRANSMISSION:
New clutch. throw out bearing. All new seals and gaskets. New axle seals
