1955 Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Project Very early car. Mille miglia eligible.

1955 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint. One of the earliest known. AR 1493 00356.

This Sprint incorporates much of what I love about old sportscars. It is a very early version and has some interesting early features.

Aluminum panels and pieces. unusual in production Giulietta's.

It

has its original interior.

Eligible for most historic events.

Once restored the owner of this car can go play amongst some of the greatest Ferrari's. Maserati's and other Classics ever made.

Someone is

going to have some fun. without having to drain his bank account.

These 53-55 Bertone Sprints are the only Giulietta's that are eligible for the Mille Miglia.

originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint. manufactured

on the 13 th May 1955 and sold on the 17 th May 1955 to Rezzaghi. San Francisco. USA.

The body colour is Alfa red.

No correspondence for the original engine.

The hood is aluminum.

The interior is completely original! I love it. Maybe an expert can save it.

Note that it has a column shift. The gearbox is also setup for column shifthowever based on the hole in the transmission tunnel I am unsure if thisis correct.

I may be able to supply a floor shift gearbox for reasonable cost if the next owner prefers.

Just look at the interior and the carpets! After 58 yrs. its amazing.

Original door trim is all in place. as is the window chrome and original glass.

The starter has. what looks like. an old cable mounting for a pull starter.

This may well have been a feature of the early Giulietta's. Also the carburetor linkage is original and quite different from other Giuliettas.

It is very likely that the engine would have had an early flat aircleaner. I maybe able to supply one if the new owner prefers.

The underside is oily and a little rusty. The oil probably saved the floors from more rust.

The trunk floor is original and has rust also.

These wheels are specific to early 55 Giulietta's. They have a rolled edge rim. I expect they are very difficult to find if missing. They are included in the sale.
