Hello. I have a 1970 Military Truck that was a M 818 road tractor. then transformed into a bobbed 5 Ton WITHOUT CUTTING THE FRAME! Truck has a straight 6 250 Cummins Diesel Engine with 29. 00 miles and 1. 00 hours. Has a 5 speed manual transmission that was replaced a few years ago with the clutch. It has high and low range on transfer case as well as the PTO lever to engage the winch. CD player. radio. amp and sub have been added with a few 6 x 9 speakers.
Heavy duty PTO driven winch on the front and a 12. 00 lb electric winch from a hummer was added to the rear. Air lockers were also installed to the axle.
Both driver and passenger seats have air ride. both seats have been replaced and are very comfortable. Truck is sitting on 53 Inch military tires with about half tread remaining. A spare wheel and tire is included in the bed.
This truck is a blast to drive! Huge eye catcher anywhere you go!
Truck needs nothing to be driven. just jump in and GO!
