1972 Custom Bay

 

STARCHASER

Starchaser is our super kool 1972 custom bay camper. He is dressed in the colour Kandy Apple Red with Ice White Pearl.

He has been a nine year restoration project!

So to the stats on Starchaser. he is a 1972 Crossover with a custom camping interior. he has full air ride suspension. Airkewld beam. shocks and Firestone bags and compressors.

He has a large tank. 17 inch American Racing Thrust 2's sitting under big tubs!

Starchaser has a custom made interior (for that Retro 50's diner look!). a full width Rock and Roll bed. Scat shift gear stick (for easy gear changes). he latest lite-steer power steering. a brand new smev cooker and sink combi with electric water pump. full leisure battery set up with 240 Hook Up. and propex adjustable heating. He also has spot lights in the rear top box and a CD player and in car stereo with ipod connector and USB port.

Starchaser has kool custom made curtains and cushions from the U. S. A which match the pop top!

As you can see no expense has been spared on him!

He has won some nice trophies this year i. e. Best Paint and Best In Show at Cumbria Vag. He also won 3rd place at the VW Festival in Leeds and Best Custom at The Northern Classic VW show! So he is Very much loved and adored! This is a very hard decision for us to put Starchaser for sale as he is part of the family but our business is going in another direction! so with regret and a heavy heart :( we have decided to sell (but hopefully he won't haha ) so to the boring bits we are not desperate to sell so please no daft offers as you can see he is one of the best in the country!!! An no swaps or part ex's . At auction end we require a £200 deposit paid into our paypal account and then cash or bank transfer on collection!  WOW I cant believe I have done this it feels like im selling my soul or one of my kids lets see if I last or when the crunch comes to the crunch god what a decision you could not build this for what it may go for but lets just say she will not go cheaply and you may need to prise her from my cold dead body good luck to you all and what a prize at the end for some lucky person.

Hi again the curb damage is to the wheels not the body just incase you may read the condition description wrong as I have . oh the trauma of it all that could be the an omen for me not to sell . there is also some filming of starchaser on vw festival website or face book and Cumbria vag website or face book for you to have look at if you need too she looks amazing in them both .

Hi all I expected a lot of questions on my beautiful bus so to answer a few . the air suspension is adjustable up or down with 3 buttons on the dash. the dash is sprayed in the same colour as the outside candy apple red. she as been tubed all across the front so the bus can sit low and allow for the front bench seat . the engine is a 1600 single carb(solex)plugs. points. old school.  the chasse is strong and rot free and has been strenghend to take the air suspension and the power steering is the new litesteer fitted by dubtricks of harragate. im sure there will be more to answer but I hope I have cleared up most in my description and in this diti . good luck to all ( and please no more buy now auction will run to the end to be fair to all )
