1968 Dodge Charger - 413 cu Chrysler  - 727 Auto 3-speed


I have had the car for about 12 years. rescued from an old storage building where it was being evicted so to speak. The car was disassembled. drivers rear bottom quarter  replaced. passenger rear full quarter replaced. truck floor replaced. both rear valance corners replaced. the rear valance was straighten. The hood. deck lid. doors are all original. The glass is original except for the windshield which is new. All that work was done in 2006. The rear end is original 3. 23 gears. Motor is a 413 from a Imperial. 4-barrel carter carb. with a 727 Auto 3 speed.   The 413 is what I had available at the time. was going to replace it but life events prevented that.


  The entire car was taken apart and repainted in Med Green Metallic paint.   There are no signs of any rust on the frame. engine compartment or body panels.   The lights. turn signals. dome light and wipers work although the headlight doors are not currently hooked up. I was saving for the electric door opener conversion kit. Converted Front brakes to Discs. from a 73-74 Charger. Rears are drums.  Just had rocker arms and lifters replaced Nov 2016. trans shifts good.


The BF Goodrich Radial T/A's are in Excellent condition as are the 15" American Racing Vector wheels. there is no rash or wear on any of them.   All of the windows roll up and down without much effort. The upholstery is New with both the Front and the back seats being re-foamed and reproduction covers from YearOne.


The Original Vin Tag is completely intact and legible on the dash. The build tag is  completely intact and legible on the drivers side fender.  


The chrome trim. door handles. and the rest of the exterior trim pieces are a combo of new and original pieces but are in good condition. The front and rear bumpers are reproductions.
