SELLER REMARKS

You're seeing a lot of Jeeps on the Streetside Classics website these days simply because they've finally passed into the realm of being valuable enough to warrant a restoration. But few can approach the quality and detail of this amazing 1984 CJ 7. whose frame-off restoration is so amazing that it almost precludes any off-road play time. Sure it's equipped to do it. but would you be willing to risk something this pretty out in the dirt?

Frame-off restorations are expensive. and doing it to this level is doubly so. Nevertheless. this ultra-clean CJ was pulled off its frame. the body stripped to bare metal. and rebuilt from there. It's all factory steel. no fiberglass tubs. and it was finished top. bottom. inside. and out in Plymouth Prowler Orange Pearl. Like the name would imply. it seems to glow from within with some unearthly fire and even on the upright Jeep's squared-off bodywork. it looks stunning. The fender flares. polished grille. and the shiny bumpers with grille guard all add a highly detailed look. and almost all the non-critical fasteners are stainless steel. No over-the-top decals. but you will note that the original AMC badge was reinstalled above the gas filler. as well as the 'CJ 7' emblem on the driver's side. Talk about getting the little stuff right!

The interior is every bit as nice. as it should be since it's out on display. Fresh black bucket seats are unmarked and like new. and you can see evidence of the thoroughness of the paint job inside where every surface has been painted and polished to the same level as the bodywork. A center console was added. and practically every single component inside. from the dash pad to the gauges to the shifter knobs. is brand new. An AM/FM/cassette stereo lives in the center of the dash. right above the ultra-rare factory-installed A/C system. which now uses R 134 a refrigerant. A reproduction steering wheel adds to the butch off-road look. and it's atop a factory tilt column which makes getting comfortable behind the wheel easy. In back there's a factory folding seat with a fresh seat cover. and the floors are protected by simple rubber mats to stick with the Jeep's back-to-basics demeanor.

With the right gears. any engine can crawl around off road. but for this special CJ. only AMC's best would do. so they found a rare 401 cubic inch V 8 and gave it a full rebuild. All the internals are new save for the crank and rods. which were fully reconditioned. and it's dressed in polished aluminum. chrome. and AMC blue engine enamel. Power steering and brakes are probably mandatory on something with tires this big. and the big V 8 has no problems turning those tires into expensive smoke. The frame was completely sandblasted and repainted. and all the hardware underneath is stainless. including the fuel and brake lines. A T-176 4-speed manual transmission links to a Dana 300 transfer case. while the rear end is an AMC 20 with a Dana 30 up front. both stuffed with highway-friendly 3. 54 gears. Both axles are rebuilt with fresh bearings. clutches. and seals. the brakes are new. and. well the list of new gear is really. really long. Even the 15 x 10 Eagle alloys and 33 x 12. 50-15 Dayton Timberland radials are brand new.

TERMS OF SALE

1. Per the e Bay User Agreement. by placing a bid you are entering into a legally binding contract and are committed to purchasing the vehicle described above. The details of this commitment are further outlined in the e Bay User Agreement.

2. Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

3. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

4. A $1. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction's close.

This deposit reserves the vehicle and removes it from the market. Acceptable payment types for deposit are: credit card. wire transfer. cashier's check. and money order.

5. If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close. vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come. first serve basis.

6. Streetside Classic Cars has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact us directly to provide additional information or answer any questions.

7. Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles. regardless of age. mileage. or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Streetside Classic Cars encourages bidder to have a personal inspection completed prior to delivery to help ensure your satisfaction. Third party inspections are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery.

8. All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied.

9. Final or winning bid price does not include shipping. tax. title. or registration fees. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any state or local taxes and shipping expenses resulting from the sale.

10. We can assist you in delivery through our network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.

11. Streetside Classic Cars bears no liability and shall be held harmless for any complications. expenses. or damages resulting from a failure to meet these terms as they have been set forth and established herein.

12. An additional documentation fee of $199 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale.
