This Pao was legally imported into the U. S. in accordance with the "25 year rule" and is currently clean titled and registered.

Fantastic right hand drive Micro Car from Japan.

Originally created for the Tokyo Motor Show of 1987.

Because of its origins at the Pike Factory. Nissans special project group. the Pao. along with the Figaro. BE-1. and S-Cargo
are known as Nissan's "Pike Cars"
The Pao was available by reservation only from
January 15 th to April 14 th. 1989.

Orders were delivered on a first come. first served basis. and the entire production run of 51. 57 cars sold out in under 3 months.

The Pao is powered by a 987 cc inline 4 Cylinder engine. making 51 hp while getting up to 51 mpg in the city and 79 mpg on the highway.

This model features automatic transmission. along with air conditioning. power rack and pinion steering. independant suspension (struts in front and coil springs in rear). front disc brakes etc.

It also has the RARE Full Size Sunroof. and a period correct Fujitsu 10 stereo system which plays mini as well as full size CD's.

A modern plug has been added to also hook up your cell phone if desired.

These cars featured a "clamshell hatch" in the back which allows the glass portion to raise up. and the bottom to fold into a tailgate.

It also comes with a Factory optional Bosch fog light bar and a VERY RARE Sony Japanese GPS Navigation System.

HOW COOL IS THAT!

The Pao has been fully serviced including oil and filter change and coolant flush.

The carburetor has been rebuilt to run on the new "ethanol treated gas" and it has a new fuel pump as well.

This car has just 84. 00 kilometers which translates to 52. 00 actual miles.

The exterior color is simply called "Ivory" and it features a lovely. clean. and complimenting interior.

It comes with an extra key.
