Up for auction is a nice 1978 Jeep Cherokee Chief with 40000 actual miles. It has a 360 C. I. with factory 4 barrel carburetor . It has a 400 turbo transmission and quadra trac transfer case converted to part time with a Mile Marker conversion kit. There is also a a new chain and seals in the transfer case with Mile Marker hubs. The tires are 33 x 12. 50 Interco TRXSUS.

There are new front wheel bearings and brakes with freshly turned rotors. For those of you who live in states with oppressive smog control rules. this vehicle probably is not for you as you will need to replace some the ones that have been removed. Other new items include alternator. fuel pump. water pump. thermostat and steering stabilizer. Most of the new items probably did not need replaced but I was putting it together to keep it for myself. There are two small rust spots on the driver & passenger fender flares that do not go all the way through. There is also a small dent on the passenger rear quarter panel. The body is straight and rust free. The tan paint is original and the black has been touched up some. The interior is very nice with the drivers seat showing moderate wear. Carpet is above average for a 39 year old vehicle. The door panels and dash are very nice. This vehicle belongs to my son so if you require additional pictures or have questions. please don't hesitate to call .
