Up for sale is my fathers 1965 Shelby Cobra. He traded his prized 1955 Chevy for it 12 years ago. He has had a lot of fun with this Cobra. but he is now on the hunt for a 1959 Cadillac. What makes this car different than others is that is was assembled from parts produced by "Puma" of Brazil. Puma was famous for the production of the GT. GTE. and GTS based on the Volkswagen powertrain. This Cobra was manufactured in Florida in 1987. It has a 302 engine with the Borg Warner 4 speed transmission. The front brakes are disc and the rear are drum. At one point my father took it to Strawberry Festival in London. Ohio. which is our home town. and asked some of the "in the know" Cobra club guys take a look at it. If you are not familiar. this is the biggest Cobra club in Ohio. the "OCC. " These guys looked this car over from top to bottom and said they had never seen one of these before. Comments where made by several on how well it was built. This Cobra is all original to its build 30 years ago.

It comes with a hard top and a soft top. The soft top has one hole in it and if I remember correctly he never had either one on the car. Since my father has owned this Cobra it has always been kept in a heated garage. So. if you are looking for that unique Cobra that sets itself aside from all the kit cars manufactured today here it is! Ok. update! I listed the true VIN number as 9 GMBA 38121 M 198801 and guess what. e Bay would not accept it. So I found a VIN number listed for a 1987 Ford pick-up on the internet and placed in the box and low and behold. success!
