"Rare" !!. 1939 Buick "Special Series" 40 2 DR. Restoration in striking"VERDI GREEN" finish w/ beautiful and supple"Dove Gray" leather seating and burgundy interior trim.

A recent restoration completed a few years ago with very low miles since.

the 248 C. I. "straight eight" engine w/ 3 spd. manual (*just re-built ) transmission. Equipped with the first year production *optional " and rare "Sunshine Turret Top" / retractable roof (or now known as a " sunroof ") * Just 198 were produced that first year production !!. also heater. running boards. nice era correct "wide white" tires. Suicide doors". beautiful chrome and trim throughout

Also. this car was one of the few vehicles on display at the "World's Fair" in 1939 !! The rare "Sunshine Turret Top" was a huge hit with the crowd and the rest is history !! The sunroof today remains a very popular option and this is where it all started !!.

The Buick looks. runs and drives fantastic just as you would expect it to !! It also comes with some boxed extra parts in the rear trunk.

As you can well imagine this is extremely RARE. 1 of just * 198 produced in the 1939 production. This makes it very rare and one of a handful still on the road in this "original" appearing . restored and Un-"Rodded"condition.

A "rare" and unusual . limited production motorcar that will complement any particular collector's "treasure chest" !!
