Original all steel American body and chassis.
Hot Rod built in the 50 s.
Stripped down. sorted out. refurbished and back on the road 5 years ago.
Painted about 1962. Blemishes and body imperfections are part of its history.
All new nuts and bolts. bushes. seals. bearings. hoses etc.
All original body with NO rust repairs and no replacement panels.
All original chassis with no rust repairs.
Original firewall. grill. V 8 badge. hood. cowl vent. windscreen frame. window winders. wind down back window. door locks and handles. seat. fuel tank. rumble seat. Original cross members. springs.
283 ci Chevrolet engine. Edelbrock intake with 3 x Holley 94 s. Edmunds air cleaners. Mickey Thompson alloy sump. Moroso alloy water pump. Corvette fuel pump. Early iron distributor. coated ramshorn exhaust. Muncie 4 speed gearbox. Hurst shifter. Smithy's muffler. early 9” back axle 3. 56:1 ratio. panhard rod.
Hand dropped front axle. roller bearing kingpins. 1940 Ford stub axles. 1948 Ford front brakes with vintage scoops. F 1 Ford steering box. lever shocks. 1935 Ford rear radius rods. 1933 Ford pickup headlight bar
Original dashboard with vintage 50 s/60 s Stewart Warner gauges. 1952 Ford steering wheel. Interior retrimmed in 2014.
1940 Mercury 15” steel wheels. Original 4” front. wide 4 ½” rear. Firestone 710 and 820 tyres.
Original 1940 Ford hubcaps
Cotton covered wiring. sealed beam headlights. Gel battery. cut off switch. USB ports.
Starts. runs. drives. handles and stops well. ULTRA reliable. Will sit on 100 kph all day long. Doesn't overheat.
No Reg or RWC.
I will have it inspected in 2 weeks for RWC items
