Up for auction is a 1969 Hemi Road Runner Convertible. Is it a true RM code Road Runner? YES! Does it have a 1969 Hemi 426 engine? YES! Is it a true Convertible? YES! Is it a true 4-Speed car? YES. Is it a Dana Rear? YES. Is it one of only 4 ever built? No. This car was born a Big Block 4-speed car. However. when the original Big Block blew up in 1969. it was replaced with a 426 Hemi. It is my understanding that Mopar only built 8 of the original 426 1969 Road Runner Convertibles. Four were 4-speed's. and 4 were automatic's. Well. this car is period correct. but not numbers matching. However. it's not 1 million dollars either! This car is loaded. It has power steering. power disc brakes. power top. power windows. factory tach. 4-speed. Dana Sure Grip Rear. Bucket Seats. Console. Air Grabber Hood. etc.

etc.

What is this car worth? Well. the last owner wanted $225 K for the car. Don't panic! I am not wanting anywhere near that. However. it is a true Road Runner Convertible. It is a 4-speed. It does have a 426 Hemi engine. So. that being said. I will be reasonable. if you will be reasonable. Don Gartlis just came by my local drag strip. and I paid him to sign the dash on this car. He signed it and had a lot of interest in the car. I just now decided to sell the car. so here it is up for auction. The car is very solid and straight. All pans. both floor and trunk. are very nice. All body lines are as they should be. and line up great. The car doesn't seem to have ever been in any bad weather or any accidents. It drives and handles GREAT. I have owned this car for many years. but have just now decided to sell it. I might consider a trade on this car. A 2000. 00 non-refundable deposit must be sent after auction ends. Remaining balance must be paid within 10 days. If we end the auction for you the car belongs to you. Delivery is available by an independent company.

We are a Tennessee dealer. Therefore if you live in Tennessee. we will be collecting taxes at the current Tennessee rate!
