Due to a change in work circumstances Im having to sell my volksrod. I brought it as a standard beetle and the plan was to convert it into a rod. spray it and airbrush the whole thing so that i could take it to the shows in the summer to advertise my airbrushing business but from when i brought the car to now ive been unindated with airbrushing work which means i just dont have the time to finish it and i need to free up a lump of cash to buy a small van. All the hard work has been done. I had a custom 10" beam extender fitted to the front with longer brake pipes and two new wheel bearings and front shocks. It has mot until december tax until december (tax exempt) unbelievably it has both keys and all of the origional service booklets including service stamps! twinport 1600 engine i brought this car because the heater channels and floorpans/battery tray are all rock solid the rust you see is actually a paint which just looks like rust. it has a rare set of weller split steel wheels with nearly new tyres It starts every time and runs sweetly i have been using it every day to get to work and back and its an hour there and an hour back. id say its 90% finished it drives fine but im selling it as a useable project because it does need things doing to finish. things it needs; headlights need wiring up indicators oil sump has a slight drip but nothing bad ive used it every day for the past 2 months and oil level is still fine. The only other thing it needs is cosmetic and thats a respray it had a rust effect spray on it when i brought it I did start sanding the bonnet back but quickly realised the rust paint needs to totally come off so it needs all blitzing off back to the origional blue underneath with a sanding disk really so i shot some satin black over it to tidy it up. Thats about it this will make someone a lovely rod for the summer with a coat of paint i want it to go to someone who appreciates volksrods. its for sale elswhere. the car owes me 3500 i know im not going to get that back because of the stage its at so ive priced it to allow the new owner to finish the paintwork and end up with a really nice rod. brush truefire I can airbrush full truefire paintschemes etc for the right deal. viewings more than welcome contact Dan on 07725039975

Is this still available, i cannot see a date on when it was listed? I am very interested. Could it be driven home from yours to West Yorkshire (Huddersfield) or would it need trailering?
