69 Shelby GT500 Silver Jade Auto A/C Tiltaway Column fold down

This is a no reserve auction the starting price is $79. 000. 00 and there is no reserve!!! This is my personal GT 500 that I have owned for over 10 years. Genuine factory 69 Shelby in the Shelby Registry. Extremely low serial number #23. Silver Jade originally had white interior now has black interior. Fresh 428 CJ balanced and blueprinted. Aluminum Heads aluminum Ford PI intake manifold. Less than 1. 00 miles since built. Correct 428 CJ C 6 transmission with Cast Iron Tail housing and R servo. Tilt away steering column fold down rear seat factory A/C. Car has all original factory assembly line sheet metal with the exception of the battery apron which was replaced with an NOS Ford part. The car was restored with NOS Shelby Front fenders. All of the rear fiberglass is factory original to the car. It has a Branda reproduction Hood and lower valance. I have the original factory hood but it is not included in his auction! The underside of the car as seen in the pictures is still in its original and correct assembly line batch paint. The car was painted about 10 years ago and still looks good but does have some chips and 2 spots that have cracked but as you see in the pictures looks good overall. This is not a trailer queen but is an excellent original solid Arizona car. The car has the correct Shelby Roll bar and original Y-belt shoulder harnesses. The car came with a 3. 00 open rear end but now has a 3. 50 31 spline limited slip diff. The car was never wrecked or rusted. The car was featured in Jerry Heasley's book "Rare finds Mustangs and Fords" There are some small items that need addressing the clock and radio do not work. There is no smog system on the engine. The Marti report shown in the auction is not included.
