1993 Lotus Elan SE Turbo
Calypso Red paintwork with Grey half leather. Very minor blemishes on Wing Mirrors and rear Valance can be found on close inspection.

Fitted with a Lotus developed 1588cc Isuzu-Lotus turbocharged engine developing 165 BHP (123 KW) and fitted with a full set of Red Samco Silicon coolant hoses complete with stainless steel hose clips earlier this year.
The car is in excellent condition having only been used lightly over the past five years and the paintwork is outstanding for a Calypro red car. Red Lotus are known to be prone to excessive fading but there are no indications of this happening to this car. The hood is black and has been recently cleaned. dyed and reproofed and is in very good condition. Hood seals which were found to be defective were replaced at the same time.
A hard copy of the official Lotus Service Manual is supplied with the car and as a back up a CD is supplied which duplicates the hard copy plus supplying an additional Electrical Wiring Manual which is very usefull.
Full service records are provided dating back to 1998 and receipts are provided for Engine and gearbox rebuilds in addition to routine brake overhauls and replacement stainless steel exhaust system etc. The total spent totals £12000 over the period.
The M100 series Lotus Elan was the first Lotus built which could be used as daily transport without having to worry how you would get home and personally I would have been happy to use the Elan as my sole means of transport.
Unfortunately my usage of the Elan has been restricted by the fact that unfortunately two large dogs do not fit into a Lotus Elan along with a Driver and since I retired most of my trips are to walk the dogs which means that the Lotus is not getting the use that it deserves and for this reason I have reluctantly decided to sell my Lotus to a new owner who will be able to use the car for the purpose that it was designed.
