1974 MK1 ESCORT 1300 XL AUTOMATIC

THIS CAR IS 99% COMPLETE. IT HAS BEEN GARAGE STORED FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS THEN BOUGHT BY PREVIOUS OWNER. I THEN BOUGHT IT BUT DUE TO COMMITTMENTS AND TIME I HAVE . DECIDED TO SELL THE CAR ON.

THE PREVIOUS OWNER PARTIALLY STRIPPED THE CAR AND COMPLETED THE BODY REPAIRS NEEDED TO THE FRONT FLOOR AREAS. SILLS AND FRONT STRUT MOUNTS.

THE REST OF THE CAR APPEARS TO BE IN A GOOD SOLID CONDITION.

THE BONNET. ROOF. BOOT LID AND NEW FRONT WINGS HAVE BEEN RESPRAYED. THESE WOULD ALL NOW BENEFIT FROM FLATTING AND BUFFING.

UNFORTUANTELY THE ENGINE APPEARS TO BE SEIZED ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T ATTEMPTED TO FREE IT.

DUE TO ALL THE STEEL BRAKE PIPES BEING REPLACED WITH NEW COPPER PIPING THEY WILL NEED BLEEDING UP.

THERE IS ALSO A SMALL AMOUNT OF WIRING TO RECONNECT UP.

THE INTERIORS IS MAINLY ORIGINAL. UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE FOUR SMALL TEARS TO THE ROOF LINING.

THE CAR IS FITTED WITH A BRAND NEW COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM. NEW SCREEN SEALS. NEW COPPER BRAKE PIPES.

THE CAR IS ALSO FITTED WITH ORIGINAL STYLE MICHELIN TYRES WHICH ARE IN GOOD CONDITION.

INCLUDED WITH THE CAR. BUT NOT FITTED ARE ALSO A BRAND NEW PAIR OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS. CALIPER REPAIR KITS. A REAR WHEEL CYLINDER. A BRAND NEW COMPLETE CARPET AND UNDERLAY SET. A REAR VIEW MIRROR. FUEL TANK CAP AND A SET OF SECOND-HAND STAINLESS STEEL REAR MUDFLAPS.
