Up for sale is this very rare 1972 Datsun 510 coupe. adult owned by the same guy for the last 29 years. The car has been swapped with a 2. 0 l fj 20 de. This was a very popular swap in race cars in the 80 s and 90 s. The fj 20 is the older brother to the Nissan sr 20 and quite a bit more robust. All work done at the owners personal auto shop. The engine swap was done to a very high degree. no corners cut. the engine looks like it was factory except the car goes like hell! We took this Datsun on on trade for a R 32 GTR

5 sp 280 zx close ratio 6 speed
3. 70 Subaru LSD
lowered. 280 ZX struts and brakes
polished 15″ 200 SX wheels with 195/50 x 15 tires. Bofencamp front spoiler
4 pt roll cage (bolt in)
Oxblood red starion turbo bucket seats
fully tinted
urethane bushings
slotted rear cross member.
factory tach/ speedo works and is accurate.
Brand new factory door. window and trunk seals
The car runs and drives extreley well. the engine swap pairs great with this lightweight chassis. Point the car where you want to go and youre there. The suspension is a great blemd of street comfort and occasional track use. athough it has not seen the track.
There is some rust froming under the paint on the rear quarter. small area affected. would be a cheap. easy fix There is no stereo currently
