Very rare. and stunningly original 1963 Imperial Custom 2-door Southampton Coupe. one of only 749 created. Very exclusive. and very expensive. fitted with almost every available extra. and they all work except the clock!
Bought new in Colorado. kept and cherished until the death of the original owners. sold by the executor to a collector in Las Vegas. then to a wealthy friend of his in Palm Springs. California. I met the owner by chance in Palm Springs. learned of the car and persuaded him to let me bring it back to England.
All the original order sheets. invoices. brochures and handbook are present. every bill from various specialists and service outfits. even the death certificates of the original purchasers have been kept and catalogued. There is also a useful service manual. I cannot overstate the wonderful condition of this impressive quality car. and was lucky enough to have the time to drive it from California to Florida. such was my confidence in the car.
Back in the UK by container. and all taxes paid. I took it for its first MOT test. which it passed with no advisories whatsoever.
This is a rare opportunity to buy what is probably the finest remaining example in Europe. let alone the UK.
Unshown as yet. and only available as I have my eye set on a Silver cloud. and need the space.
