This classic 1970 Mercury is in great running condition! Everything works - even the hideaway headlights and original AM/FM radio. With a little TLC. it will make a unique show car!

Exterior

It has the original paint. However. it is chipping and peeling - especially on the passenger side. It will need new paint. No rust! The rear flange was removed by a prior owner. It is included in the sale. Hideaway headlights do work. however the covers come up slowly. I believe the vacuum switch will need to be replaced. The trunk does not have any rust. The original trunk liner is included. but it is brittle with age. No cracks or chips in glass. The nose grill is broken. which is pretty common on this model. Replacements are available from resellers. The antenna is broken but the original radio still works. All headlights and taillights work. Undercarriage is in good shape and is not rusted out. There is no spare tire. but the original jack is include in the sale.

Interior

Interior is in good condition. Seats are all in good condition with the exception of a small hole in the front seat and a small hole in the rear seat. There is one crack in the dash. The passenger side trim does have some corrosion. but does not go through the floor. Headliner is intact with no rips or tears. Carpeting is in good shape.

Engine

Runs great! However. I do believe it runs a little rich and the carburetor may need to be rebuilt. The heater core was removed by a previous owner. but is included in the sale. The odometer reads 38. 00. but unknown if the odometer has rolled over.
