This incredibly preserved and maintained collector signal red 380SL is a lavishly well-equipped time capsule. It features power steering. power 4 wheel disc brakes. cruise control and a state of the art 3. 8 liter SOHC V8. With a Bosch K-Jetronic C. I. S. (continuous) fuel injection system the short stroke V8 produces an ample 155 horsepower and 196 foot-pounds of torque.

This PRISTINE native Southern California Mercedes-Benz 380SL was purchased from the ORIGINAL family of owners in August of 2014 and comes with extremely detailed service records from local Mercedes dealerships as well as the original owner's manual and window sticker. With a Signal Red Exterior and Palomino MB-Tex interior it is easy to see that this vehicle has been babied since day one. There are no splits. holes or tears inside and the paint remains extremely glossy and virtually new. as it's been cared for by professional detailers. This vehicle still has its original MB-Tex interior and both original tops including the hard top trolley. All in excellent condition. The elegant color combination is finished off with a beautiful condition chocolate brown canvas soft top.

It now has just above 90. 00 original babied miles. but shows very little wear. similar to vehicles with a fraction of that mileage. Less than 350 miles have been put on this car in the past three years. It's never been hit. never damaged. the bumper is free of rust and the bumper rubber has no scuffs. the interior plastic trim is in close to perfect condition. and the chrome is beautiful. The OEM alloy wheels were recently polished and remain in great condition. The vehicle is sporting a set of modern blackwall radials and the highly original and very clean engine bay shows the signs of regular maintenance. The attention paid to the preservation of this wonderful Pagoda is also shown in it retaining both hard and soft tops. and the original Becker radio.
