1949 Willys CJ3A

Here is a beautifully restored/remanufactured 49 Willys Cj 3 A in Normandy Blue. Vehicle was completely disassembled.

Every part was carefully inspected. cleaned. rebuilt. repaired or replaced.

New steel body with spray on bed liner underneath. top side finished in an original color Normandy Blue.

Frame and all chassis components blasted. coated with POR 15 and finished with satin black chassis paint. The engine is the 134 L-Head. bored . 040. reground cam. Super Sonic Head. 2 BBL Webber Carb. electronic ignition. custom 2 in. exhaust. aluminum radiator w/electric fan. 12 volt system with 1 wire GM alternator. Transmission is the T 90 3 spd rebuilt. Transfer case Dana 18 rebuilt. Front axle Dana 25 rebuilt with disc brakes. locking hubs and a 1 piece tie rod for better handling. Rear axle Dana 44 rebuilt with 11 in. drum brakes. Master cylinder is a 2 chamber type. mounted in original location. Tires are 700 X 16 NDT on original steel rims with stainless rings. Safety upgrades include seat belts and directional signals. NY does not have titles for vehicles over 15 years old. instead. a current registration is transferable in all 50 states. Questions are welcome and thanks for looking!

Components do not have a Krylon rebuild. they are actually rebuilt.

Transmission & Transfer Case have all new bearings. shims. synchros. blocking rings. counter shafts and new seals and gaskets.

Front & Rear axles have all new bearings bushings. oil seals and gaskets.

Steering box has all new bearings. shims. worm & sector gears. seals & gaskets.

The list of new parts goes on & on. clutch. brakes. gas tank. seat covers. gauges. wiring. etc.

Suspension consists of 4 new Rough Country springs with all new bushings. shackels & hardware. plus 4 Gabriel shocks.

Buyer has the choice of Wheel & Tire Package.

The last 2 photos show this Jeep with 31 X 11. 50 X 15 Super Swamper tires on solid steel rims with rings.

I had these on the Jeep at first. but went to the NDT tires instead.

The 700 X 16 NDT's are actually a little taller than the Swamper.
