CITROEN "Deaux Chaveau" or 2 CV AK 350
This is a very handy reliable van. Over the last fifteen years since I imported it originally from the south of France via the U. K. ( Non spec RHD conversion and the god sent breezy sun roof Vans usually don't have the soft top otherwise it would be perhaps uncomfortable on a hot day )
This modest little charmer turns more heads towards my business than a million dollar advertising campaign. And is obviously the ultimate editorial lifestyle vehicle.
All the usual demands made of running these cars everyday have been addressed using Citroen enthusiast and club suppliers ( of which every part is still available most better than original and sent priority usually gets here within six days comprehensive competitive sites ) The Chassis is excellent. But this is not by any means concours. Its expected to be used and to be had fun in. Its never been on any 2 cv raids. but it could do if that tickles your fancy.
4 ltr / 100 klms. tyres about 50 bucks each. simple low tech. small footprint. appreciating fast.
Last engine and mechanical full overhaul including complete engine rebuild 12/16 or 1000 kilometers ago inc. top and bottom end exhaust and gearbox drive train etc. Very strong and quiet.
Would suit a pull out market stall coffee business. or camp wagon.

The Citroen AK 350 was designed with the frugal 1960's artisan's needs well provided for. . there is a gear knob that screws apart for hiding black truffles. ( well thats what I think I saw them putting in there )
