Current customer rating:
You are looking at a 1986 CJ 7 2. 5 l 4 speed standard shift with 4 wheel drive.
I bought this Jeep two years ago and completely went through it.
The body work and paint job was over 5 k.
I replaced the old 2. 5 l with a long block from Napa $2500+ All new seats and Best Top ran about $1500.
The floor board is done in black professionally sprayed bed liner by $500.
New seat belts. radiator. and Weber 2 bbl carburetor were around $500.
New gas and temp gauge. added power steering $300.
Spray can undercoating. new bushings.
That's $10. 00 worth of stuff not even considering what I paid for the original jeep and hauling.
The rear tires are brand new and the front have plenty of tread.
New rear seal in trans and front seal in the differential.
New exhaust.
New steering wheel.
This vehicle has had all the smog stuff removed.
I flushed and adjusted all the heater cables this winter and it heats up just fine.
If you think restoring one of these is cheap you are mistaken.
NO LIFT HAS BEEN ADDED.
This jeep will run top end around 65 mph.
As far as I know it has no issues.
I have only driven it 2800 miles in two years.
You can't buy a used car in this kind of mechanical shape for this low price.
