1979 Super Beetle Convertible - Tip Top Shape ! VW Bug Convertable

This car is awesome and so is the gentleman who owns it. When I asked him if it has ever seen a winter he nonchalantly replied "a winter? no. it's only seen the rain 3 times. and those 3 times were by accident man".

This Super Beetle is phenomenal. There have been two owners total and the current owner bought it in 1993. It lived its life down South and then made the trip up North. It was in nice shape when it was purchased in '93 but Thom the owner wanted better.

How about a new paint job? Sure. no problem. $4. 98. 22 later the car is as beautiful as the pictures try to show. Where did I get that number? We have the receipt to show you. It was painted by one of the best collision repair facilities in the North East. They dismantled it. made the body perfect and painted it a gorgeous black.

Everything on this car is in its original top notch quality or has been replaced with better than original parts. Like the top for instance was replaced in 1999. It looks brand new and it's canvas. not like the original stock material which would crack and fade terribly. No corners have been cut with the restoration of this iconic automobile.

Did you see the Coker tires? They took a year to get and they're practically brand new ! How about the Coco floor mats? You die hard VW fans know what I'm talking about. The rear tires are 20mm higher than the front to give that level or slight tip forward to the car. The squatting Bugs just didn't appeal like the level ones did.

Did you notice the wheels aren't OEM? Do you like them? Do you like the OEM wheels better? That's OK if you do. we've got the original wheels all boxed up. they're included with the car of course. Don't let the Bug get dusty either. we have a dust cover for it and a cover for the convertible top when its down too. Thom drives it about 800 miles a year.  There are about 71. 00 miles on her.

This car is an absolute joy to drive. Turn the key and the electronically controlled fuel injected motor happily fires right up. Put her in gear and off you go. Oh. one last thing. don't forget to drop the top first!
