1985 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 380 SL for sale

Hello. This is a nice 2 owner 1985 Mercedes 380 SL. The car had been in storage since 2001. I replaced the gas. changed the oil. put on new fuel filter. new fuel pump. and new fuel accumulator. The tires are like new. no weather cracking. This car runs like new . The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. the brakes are good. there is not one spot of rust anywhere on this car. It has been in Florida its whole life. Original paint in very good condition. Soft top is like new. and the hard top is in excellent condition. I have had this car since October 2016 and have driven it about 1000 miles. The odometer stopped working at 73044 miles. I tried to change the odometer settings while driving and it stripped the gears in the odometer cluster. I found out I was not supposed to change the settings while moving. So I would put the mileage at about 74000 miles.
The AC does work . but not super cold. I have not charged the system. This is a very dependable car. and I would not hesitate to drive it across country as it is. The stitching on both seats are coming apart on a couple of seams . and there are 3 small cracks on the top of the dash. most likely from the Florida sun. This is registered as an antique car now and the value will only go up on these collectible classics. Thank you

Hello. The paint color is Midnight Blue. and I want to stress that this car is in exceptional condition. It was stored in a climate controlled garage from 2001- 2016. and was started and run for 25 miles at least every 3 months. I bought this car from that collector in October of 2016 and have it registered and have been driving it every week. I am selling this car because I am moving in April. Thank you.
