 I picked this car up in 2015 with hopes of a full restoration but I have never made time to get it done and has been parked in my garage for the last 2 years. The person I bought it from started the engine for me the day that I purchased it but I haven't started it since. He told me he picked it up as a barn find in Kansas and had been in the same barn since 1969. He gave me the original title for it from when it was purchased Oct 16. 1942 and I had started applying for a new title with hopes of keeping the original one with the car as part of its original history but I never finished the process so I have the (original title) but not a current one in my name. I also have the sales brochure from 1942. a shop manual and parts interchange book that will go with the car. I had started working on the brakes and replaced master cylinder. wheel cylinders. brake shoes and was in the process of locating drums so I never quite finished the brakes. I purchased a new 6 volt battery that goes with the car as wellI have the tail light and the Hudson emblem for the front of the hood but the piece on top of the hood in front is missing and the pieces below the light on side of hood is missing. I also have the piece that is broken off the front bumperAlso wanted to mention that the gas tank has a couple of holes so it has been removed so it can be welded and the only "rusted through" areas that I could find are along the rocker panels and along the bottom outer edge of the trunk. frame looks to be in very good shape.
