The Oldsmobile 442 was a muscle car produced by the Oldsmobile division of General Motors. It was introduced as an option package for F-85 and Cutlass models. In 1968 was the first year the 442 was a model of its own.

Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is very proud to present a car like this 1969 Olds 442. This quality example features a built 400 ci engine making it a joy to drive.  






The exterior is finished in a quality teal  base coat / clear coat. showcasing a very nice paint with a great quality of work.  




Overall the car is in great condition. The trunk is solid with zero signs of rust. and the body does not show rust either and the interior is in good condition as well.  








Many of our photos of this 1969 OLDS 442 were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum. located just a few minutes from our showroom. Be sure to visit if you find yourself in Dallas. Texas.  








All of the body panels and the chrome bumpers line up well.  










The interior features  black vinyl covered seats. with a classic look of 1969 for this 442 Olds. Everything through out is well kept and ready to be driven by its new owner.  




Showcasing its original style interior as well as the original steering wheel. the interior is very nice. The miles are believed to be original. The seats do appear to have been redone. but we have no history on that.





The radio is functional.




The convertible top goes up and down smoothly.  giving its way to cruise around with no other worries than to enjoy this great. Olds.  














Just like the bodywork. the interior presents well. The upgrades are very limited on the interior of this car. the AC is still working properly.

At the heart of 442 is a 400 cubic inch V-8. Although displacement was the same as the 1967 model the new cid used the soon to arrive 455 crank stroke which resulted in a very torque oriented motor. The base cid motor was rated at 325 hp for the automatic car.  









This car rides on BFGoodrich tires. both rear and front are P215 70 R14.








The undercarriage is solid and clean.   The dual exhausts make the 442 sound great.
