I purchased this car with the aim of improving it however due to now closing my business and moving to the USA I no longer have to time to make what is a good car even better. We haven't worked on the car but had the prevous done when I purchased it:

The car was resprayed and there is no rust etc. bodywork very good
New door rubbers
4 x new tyres (I had these put on last week for the MOT)
New clutch slave cylinder
New headlining
New carpet
New Motolite steering wheel

The car drives very nice and is a great usable classic. The bits I would improve are: seats (these are ambler from a Mk 2 240). all wood needs re-lacquering. rechrome bumpers as these are perfectly usable but pitted.

This is a great Mk 2 at a great price but don't expect it to be perfect if you want perfect buy my other Mk 2 for £44. 50 that we have full restored.
