Description

This MGA Mk ll Roadster is a genuine UK RHD car and is an excellent example having undergone substantial restoration.

The last owner bought the car from a well known classic car dealer in 1995 and has lavished a great deal of money during his ownership to bring the car up to the standard we see today. The history file contains invoices for over £24000 detailing this expenditure.

It has been professionally upgraded with a 1. 8 Ivor Searle unleaded engine and Type Nine five speed gearbox which makes it very usable in modern traffic.

The car has also been fitted with a stainless steel exhaust. kenlowe fan. wire wheels and it comes complete with a tonneau cover and removable plexiglass wind wings.

Due to ill health the car has been unused for the last three years stored in the owners dry integral garage

and so in order to reprepare it for the road we have fitted two new correct 6 V batteries. a new SU electric fuel pump. a new brake/clutch master cylinder. new clutch slave cylinder. new rear brake shoes and new rear brake cylinders.

The MOT now runs until July 2014 and the current Free Historic Road Tax until the end of June 2014 is on the windscreen.

The car still retains it's original Yorkshire registration number of XKW 860 and has spent all it's life in the north of England.

The large history file contains the original buff log book. subsequent DVLA V 5's. previous MOT certificates. heritage certificate. valuation forms. photographs for insurance and the dozens of invoices for the work completed.

Classic open top sports motoring and likely to be an excellent investment.

If you are unsure of anything relating to condition. please phone to clarify. Buyers are deemed to have inspected and approved any vehicle they buy. Please remember that these vehicles are not new and that they have been subject to wear and tear. As such. they are offered for sale on a trade sale basis with no warranty.

Viewing

All vehicles are available for viewing by appointment during normal business hours (9 am-4. 30 pm Monday to Friday). Saturday and Sunday viewing by arrangement.

Payments

We can only accept bank tranfer. bankers draft or cash on collection as payment. If you intend to pay by bankers draft then we need to know the draft details and the issuing branch (with contact details) before collection of vehicle. No other forms of payment are accepted.

Delivery

Vehicles will only be delivered after full payment has been received.
