Lancia Montecarlo in VGC. A known club car it underwent an extensive restoration which included floors. sills etc (there's photos of the work in progress) and returned to the road 18 months ago. Since then it's been run by myself and featured in Practical Performance Car magazine. summer use only and is still in very good condition. Mechanically and structually it's spot on. engine was rebuilt and sounds great. gearbox is fault free and suspension brakes have all been overhauled as part of the restoration. All the dash instruments work (today - it is Italian after all). There's no rust anywhere on the shell. but the paintwork is not the greatest. It looks good from 6 ft and in the photos. but I've toyed with the idea of repainting it. but have decided to sell instead. Has four very low mileage Yokohamas on it. There's a few Montecarlo specific items that are worth mentioning. Headlamps have been rebuilt (the reflectors usually fail and they're mega expensive to replace). electric windows are very slow (there's a few mods that can be done to rectify this but I've lived with them). rear bumper has lots of micro cracks in the plastic and the front brakes have been upgraded with grooved discs and better pads. Needs nothing to be enjoyed
