Holden Gemini TX Genuine Survivor Car

Holden Gemini genuine survivor car with all matching numbers including original engine 1600 and 4 spd . I saved this car from being cut up and ripped apart. it is really a genuine 40 year old car. I purchased the car recently and had planned to full restore it. but things change in life and I have to move it on.  It has 3 months rego in SA. drives fantastic except tyres are a little rumbly from sitting around. The engine has had a fresh rebuild seals gaskets. welch plugs. rings and rod bearings. and runs brilliant no taps its quiet as . heater core needs replacement and water pump has a seep but again proberly from sitting around as does not leak while driving. choke on carby needs adjustment. clutch is new. The bad points listed

. Rust in bottom of both front guards >>due to heaps of mud and dirt stuck behind mud flaps. few small bubbles in corner of door. insides of all doors are in mint conditon

. rust in top right engine bay section >>the usual bit that rusts in geminis>>I have had and new one made and comes with the car

. boot lid needs replacement and painted . there are sections on the car the old guy owner has patched up himself and painted with a paint brush. it appears the car has had a minor rear accident and I think he has tried to repair it himself.

small section when drivers guard removed at base needs a metal plate welded on.

small section on the sill panel needs attention

the boot floor and rest of floor in this car is in brilliant condition . there is a 5 cent rust hole only in corner boot section where rear beaver is.

for the age of this car if it didn't have the mudflaps catching mud and dirt this car would be in incredible condition. the interior  is passable except for drivers seat with is trashed but comes in boot of car. I have put just a vinyl  TD Gemini drivers seat in. it has a AM onlyold skool sanyo  radio with tape cassette . it works but rear speakers are no good at all

the car drives so good I would be confident to drive it anywhere. really if I don't sell it I would just replace the bottom of the guards and drive it looks neat as . have had heaps of people in the last week give the thumbs up as driving past
