This is a 1965 427 SC Cobra. built by Shelby American. This car is titled in the State of Michigan as 1965 Ford Two Door Vin# CSX 4882.
This is a continuation model with a FE 427 Side Oiler(496) C. I.
This car has a stock appearing Cobra gear shifter. however it has 5 gears instead of 4.
The car has all the standard Cobra fare. such as: quick jacks. sun visors. aluminum closeout panels' front and rear. high strength fiberglass composite body. fully independent front and rear suspension.
It comes with the coated headers and side exhaust(side exhaust is in the box in the photos) and the extra set of black side pipes which are currently on the car(authentic look). It also comes with two sets of the 15" Hilibrand wheels with new Goodyear Biliboard tires mounted as shown. The cars primary use was as a show car on the showroom floor at a Ford Dealership.
The car has been extremely well cared for and only has 819 miles on it.
That's eight hundred and nineteen miles.
The engine runs extremely well and was recently tuned.
The car comes with the original certificate of origin from Shelby American.
Its finished in silver with black racing stripes. this car is stunning with the flat black side pipes.
