1959 Morris Morris Minor Tourer Tourer

Ok guys. this is a Very Nice 1959 Morris Minor Tourer that has been modernized to a great running Suzuki DOHC Fuel Injected 1. 3l out of a Suzuki Swift. and it has also been converted to the Susuki 5-speed transmission and Suzuki front disc brakes to make a great driver that is modern highway friendly.  All of this work was done nicely and it all functions great to make a very nimble driver out of this great looking British Classic.  It has just had the Timing Belt changed. and had the Cam Seals and Crank Seal replaced at the same time. along with thousands of dollars in receipts for this car not including the motor/trans swap job. and it has new tires and the front end components are all fresh and drives perfect. so it is ready to enjoy at the moment of delivery. This is a Rust Free example of a 1959 Morris Minor Tourer and has spent its life in California where the Powertrain transplant was performed. and then it spent a few years in Texas where some additional freshen up was done years later. and both places are great to ensure a clean and rust free body. All the lighting works as it is supposed to and is still facory. while the engine management is a Stand Alone System that is simple and easy to maintain. There was a custom aluminum fuel tank made to run an internal fuel pump and fit in the factory mount position. so the trunk still looks factory and is still usable as it would have been. Until you open the hood of the Morris Minor it is really hard to tell anything was done to it. and it was the goal to keep the original and nostalgic appearance of the car while being able to enjoy it in modern traffic and drive it daily with no issue in that traffic. The body and interior appearance of this car is very nice overall. and it is very clean with the few little chips here or there due to use. but it will hold its own at your local car show or classic cruise night with no problem. All the glass is in perfect shape. and the convertible top is in Like New Conditon to add to the clean and usable appearance. For the people who are wondering about the Radiator Setup and or Engine Mounting. the Inner Fender was Not Cut or Drilled for air flow. and the radiator draws air from the front grill and out the radiator core toward the engine via thermostatically controlled electric fan. so there was No Cutting to the body for the radiator mounting.  The Suzuki 1. 3l has custom bolt on mounts that bolt to the factory framework. so it is not a welded in hodgepodge mess at all. and an original powerplant could be reinstalled at anytime due to no frame rail modifications.
