Up for sale is my much loved 998 turbo mini.

This was rebuilt to meet road-going production series regulations for hill climbs. I intended to enter but cannot find the time or money to do so. It is essentially a road legal race/ track car.

The car was rebuilt and resprayed in 2010 and converted to a custom 998 turbo. It has been used almost daily for at least the last year. It runs very well. Once on boost it just keeps pulling. As can be seen in the dyno curve it has over 100 bhp from just over 5500 rpm all the way to 7500 rpm. Boost starts around 2500 rpm and is all in by 3500 rpm. Suspension geometry has been professionally set up. F reg. originally a City E.

Garrett T 2 turbo running approx 13 psi / 0. 9 bar (bleed valve in car) MG metro turbo carb and exhaust manifold (with custom fittings to mount the T 2

Oil cooler

Minispares 2 core rad

Megasquirt 1 fully mappable ECU set up for ignition only running wasted spark coils (can be built to control fuel injection. boost. traction control etc. a very good ECU) (this makes using the car in the rain a doddle. no more problems. Also has a water temp sensor and adjusts the ignition timing when cold to improve warm up).

The c lutch has started to wear and slips on full boost so have turned down to 0. 5 bar boost for now (i. e. new clutch plate required. this was a standard verto clutch and has covered well over 20. 00 miles a new turbo plate would be ideal)
