FOR SALE CLASSIC MINI COOPER R 1 CONVERSION
Its taken me just over a year and a lot of hard work. However due to going full time at my job and being in the process of moving out I can no longer continue to work on her.
The car itself I bought on ebay unseen from a guy in Norwich. I then got the Pro Motive No 50 kit and the bike engine and started working on putting it all together.
I did all the work myself and put countless hours. endless blood and sweat into it. It pains me to sell it especially as its so close to completion. The car starts. drives and stops.

Here are just some of the parts I've fitted.
New EBC front pads
New rear drums. shoes. brake cylinder
Hi Los front and rear.
KYB shocks all round
Complete polybush front subframe
New Maniflow center exit exhaust
New oil and filter for the R 1
New K&N air filter
New uprated front rubber cones
New Sytec fuel pump and filter
. many more parts fitted
The wheels and tyres aren't in great condition and need changing ideally. The rear brakes also need adjusting and the fronts need wearing in. There's no major rust or rot anywhere and the bodywork is in a good condition for its age. I was planning on just using it for track days so could do with a roll cage fitting to it.
R 1 engine had 10 k on it according to the person i got it from and the mini has done over 48 k.
I'm also including a Haynes Manual for both the Mini and the R 1 as well as the build manual from Pro Motive (who by the way are amazing at helping and giving advice)
Cash on collection or bank transfer prior to collection will be fine. Car is advertised in a few places so I reserve the right to remove this ad if someone buys it.
N. B. I can also add 2 fixed bucket seats with 2 new Sparco 4 point harnesses for an extra £130 ready to be installed (worth £200+)
