Under the hood is the original Mercury "Super " 289 4 bbl. V 8 engine. This powerplant is also equipped with California emissions along with factory optioned power steering and air conditioning. The engine compartment is exceptionally clean and detailed throughout. down to the California emission controls.

The undercarriage displays excellent sheetmetal throughout this dry climate California Cougar.

The factory AM radio is in place and functional as are the rest of the gauges and controls.

The door panels are in excellent condition and the door undersides display excellent original sheetmetal.
