1947 Lea Francis DHC

(believed to be the only one ever made with this kind of bodywork)

Bonnet. front and rear wings all made in steel.   The rest of the car is made out of wood.   We think it is mahogony but it is built to a very high standard and looks quite stunning.

The interior is all complete as is the hood frame. clocks and dash etc.   It runs and drives.

  The new owner will have two options either to restore it to a higher standard or recommission it as it is now.  

It has been in storage for many years and it has some interesting history.   There are some newspaper cuttings which come with the car. which state that it was once used for carrying Billy J Kramer and the Dakotas to their gigs.
