This is a beautiful old Hudson coupe. and a very rare find.   This car has been mostly sitting in a garage for the last 8 years and previously had an amateur restoration (it has been driven during that time and not just sat untouched and freezing up).   it The overall pictures make the car look perfect. however. when you look closer. you can tell it is not perfect and has its flaws.   That being said. this is still one heck of a nice car and a cool driver.   The engine starts right up and runs great. although she is cold natured.   The manual transmission shifts nice and the clutch feels good.   Brakes work great.   Body is extremely solid.   Only rust through on body that I can see are some very small holes in the trunk which are shown in the pictures.   The bottom of the body all the way around appears to be very solid.   The doors open and shut nice. door locks work. windows roll up and down good.   The glass is in very good condition. looks to have been replaced. no cracks. no chips. no fogging.

What it could use:

Most chrome is very nice. but a few pieces need re-chromed. such as the Hudson grille emblem. outside door handles. steering wheel trim. radio face. and door garnish moldings.   It is missing the chrome strip on the driver's running board.   The remainder of the chrome is nice

The car needs the interior finished. as it has no carpet. the package tray needs finished on the covering. and a headliner needs installed (bows are there) and ceiling is painted and looks good

Will need some tires. these are old and the tread is worn.   The tires are a small common size. though. so this should not be a major expense.

The glass on the speedometer face is cracked.

The paint looks nice and is great for a driver. but if you want to show the car it would need paint work. as there are some small bubbles near the back window where the paint has released (not rust).

It needs some small tinkering on items like this to make it look awesome. but is a real nice car and is priced to allow the new owner to do some touch ups.

I am honest about everything I sell and this is shown in my feedback.   This car needs a few things. but overall is a really cool car that stands out in a crowd.   Not your usual Chevy. Dodge. or Ford.   Those are cool. but this car is really unique and gets tons of attention.

I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.   Thank you. Chris 501-410-3229

Hi there, i am very interested in your Hudson. I am writing from Austria so would not be able to see it before the purchase. Therefore i would be very greatful if you could send me as many photos as possible including the Chassis, interior and underneath. Also the logbook if you still have it and any rust patches if there are any. Any other Information you have about it. Thank you for your time Regards Christian
