110 V8 Land Rover Hard Top 1989 petrol/LPG for sale

This is my fantastic V 8 110 Land Rover for sale.
She is in remarkably excellent condition for its age. everything works. totally reliable.
Has the original 3. 5 litre V 8. professionally converted and certified to run on Petrol and LPG. and she returns amazingly good economy!!!.
Due that LPG is half the price of diesel. her fuel cost equivalent is an amazing 28 MPG!
She starts on the key every time. switches over from petrol to LPG and back with no problem using the 3-way electric switch mounted on the dash. drives fantastically. handles well and has loads of power. way more than the 110 diesels and 2. 5 petrols! She will sit at 70 mph all day and can reach 80 mph if your ears can take it. amazes fellow Defender owners who struggle to make 60 mph.
The tone of the V 8 is just lovely and very recognisable. and folk are always commenting on how good she sounds.
There is no smoke or rattles from the engine.
Gear changes are faultless. she pulls hard in any gear. and the transfer box. low/high range and central diff lock work fine.
There is the usual rumble from the clutch release bearing when the clutch is out and you'll have to get used to slowing down the gear change when going down from 3 rd to 2 nd or learn to double-clutch from 3 rd to 2 nd gear to avoid crunching the gears due to the usual worn synchro on second.
The chassis is in great condition. no welding or repairs are required. and there is no sign of offroading damage at all underneath. so I assume this 110 has never been offroaded!
She has 3 big and nearly new General Grabber AT 2 tyres on steel rims. and comes with 4 larger MT tyres on steel rims and a crossply on original rim if you require to have a lower tyre on the bonnet for a bit more visability.
They large MT on the bonnet doesn't actually get in my way at all. and I am of average height.
The radio with CD player works. as do the string of LED lights in the back. which is fully wood lined.
The large 94 liter LPG tank is in the back under the wood. and doesn't take up much space at all due to the shear size of the load bay. and is good for a 250 mile run.
She still has her standard petrol tank as well which is good for 300 miles. so a combined range of about 550 miles!
The interior is clean enough. seats have been reupholstered in mud-proof atlas print.
There is a small chip on the center of the windscreen. which is not growing and not in the line of sight.
The exhaust is relatively new and in very good condition.
I gave her an engine oil. gear oil. diff oils change earlier this year.
Comes with original high lift jack. adjustable tow bar.
I'm regretfully selling her due to having a transit van for work. so too many vehicles and not enough time to enjoy them all.
(I bet I'll regret selling her when the weather gets bad!)
