1965 Land Rover Series 2A for sale
Current customer rating:
Up for auction is my 1965 Land Rover Series 2 A. this Landy is a real treat to drive with its right hand steering.
She runs well. drives. shifts and stops as she should and turns heads all the time.
I acquired her for use on my farm but have found a pickup is more suitable for my needs.
The previous owner added new seats and did the swap out of front fenders (it's a '65 with '69 headlight fenders) The all-aluminum body is in fine shape with only a few rust character spots and the wonderful green patina and fairly close wheel color to OEM add to her charm.
In my course of ownership I have located and added a true Series 2 Aluminum top and a full rear door.
When going topless I found a genuine series 2 tailgate that works great and I sourced a great tuffy center console box for storage.
Tires are in great shape. all lights work.
The 2. 3 L gas engine fires right up and its whopping 81 hp will blister the road with a top speed of 50 mph.
As with all Land Rovers of this era she does mark her territory with oil spots.
This is a great Series 2 A that won't break the bank.
I hold a clear title to the Rover.
She is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction should a sale occur.
I require a $500 deposit within 48 hours of winning the auction (paypal preferred) and the balance due upon pickup or shipment by cashier's check.
