Car been in uk 18 months (from Canada. did some shows there and already started showing here)
Near original car throughout and unmolested
Electronic ignition fitted - all electrical systems works beautifully
Flat 6 engine and 3 speed manual gearbox
Great on fuel will do 25/30 mpg dependant on driving style
Drives really well and turns a lot of heads - the car has original sun visor - eyecatching
Has had indicators and hazard lights fitted and 2 new 6 v spotlights -(not wired up yet)
This is a good clean tidy car. with headliner in very good conditionpaintwork is in good conditionbrake system has been overhauled/replaced I have some history showing the car shows Canada and its been at the Classic car show Event City and Movie star cars Blackpool amongst others
bad bits: needs carpets and seats need attention as can be seen from photos (I have been quoted £1200 for a full interior but the headliner does not need replacing)there are a few scratches on the exterior paintwork but otherwise a good clean genuine car
THIS CAR WOULD MAKE A GOOD CLEAN WEDDING CAR ETC
The difference is that the D-25 was based on the Plymouth and not the regular Dodge. The regular Dodge of 1946-1948 has a grille that comes to a point without curving. and the fenders flow into the doors. With the D-25 "Plodge" the fenders stop at the doors. and the grille curves to a point (following the lines of the Plymouth).
